For those of you that don't know I have an online children’s clothing business, kangacoo designs. Last week I sold 100 pairs of girls ruffle socks in 2 days using an email campaign. I do most of my sales through Facebook and Email even though I have a website. I have gradually been converting my Facebook subscribers to email subscribers to give me more control of the selling process without having to pay to boost posts on Facebook.
Today I want to give you a few tips to create sales results with your email campaigns:

Today I want to give you a few tips to create sales results with your email campaigns:
- Start with a qualified email list. Make sure you are selling to people that are actually interested in your product. Better to have a smaller list of “buyers” then a large list of people who are never going to buy.
- Be straight forward and specific in your subject line. Instead of Back to School Sale I used “You need these ruffle socks for back to school! SALE”. I only offered one item for a sale price.
- Keep the clicks to a minimum. The more clicks a buyer has to make to buy something the less likely they are to finish. I offer a reply to buy option. “Simply reply to this email with your order and Paypal email and I will invoice you” AND a “click here to buy from the website” option. Most of my sales are reply to buy. It’s a bit more footwork on my end to manage the billing and payments but I get more sales so it pays off.
- Offer the deal for a small window. Create a sense of urgency by offering your deal for only 2-3 days. Send one email to offer the deal and another last chance for the deal email the day your deal ends.
